Recent study by ICT Qatar revealed that 45% residents in Qatar visit social media websites at least once a day, spending an average of 2 hours on them. Qataris spend an average of 3 hours per day, while the youth sits a bit longer spending an average of 4 hours per day, Qatar has the fourth highest percentage of Facebook users in the Arab World. With 88% visiting regularly, Facebook top the charts followed by Twitter with 43% users and Instagram with 17% users. However, Qatar Nationals prefer Twitter with 65% tweeting daily where as 90% of Arab expats in Qatar are loyal to Facebook.
